Job Description

Role:- Manager - Liaisoning & Admin

Objective:

Key Responsibilities

1. Liaisoning & Statutory Clearances

  • Act as primary interface with government departments, GIDC, GPCB, DISH Departments, and other statutory bodies.
  • Facilitate approvals, licenses, and NOCs required for plant construction and operations (environmental clearances, factory license, labour licenses, pollution control consents, fire safety approvals, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with central, state, and local regulations during project execution.
  • Maintain healthy relationships with local administration, district authorities, and industrial associations (e.g., Dahej Industries Association).

2. Administration

  • Oversee contracts and coordination for site security, housekeeping, and facility management.
  • Ensure smooth establishment of temporary site offices, warehouses, and administrative facilities.
  • Manage office administration, travel & accommodation, transport, guest house related matters during project and commissioning phases.
  • Implement administrative policies, procedures, and vendor management systems.
  • Ensure effective cost control and compliance in all administrative expenditures.

4. Stakeholder & Community Management

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities, panchayat bodies, and influencers to ensure social harmony.
  • Support CER initiatives and corporate communication at the project location.
  • Handle grievance redressal and facilitate smooth interaction between the company and external stakeholders.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong networking and liaisoning ability with government, industrial, and local bodies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Gujarati, English and Hindi.
  • Ability to handle pressure situations, resolve conflicts, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and organizational skills.

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferred: PG in Administration / Law / Public Relations).
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in Administration & Liaisoning, with at least 5 years in chemical / manufacturing / project environment.
  • Proven track record of managing liaisoning and statutory approvals for greenfield / brownfield industrial projects in Gujarat (Dahej/Ankaleshwar belt).
