Job Responsibilities:-

A)Responsibilities:

• Server Management: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware).
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex server-related issues, including performance degradation, hardware failures, and software conflicts, IIS, FTP, SFTP, AD, DHCP, DNS, QSAN.
• Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patch management, firmware updates, and disk space management.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure server security and compliance with organizational policies and industry standards, including server hardening, access controls, and monitoring logs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, such as network, storage, and application teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve complex technical issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of server configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and maintenance activities.
• Problem Management: Identify and document root causes of server-related issues and propose preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
• Communication: Provide timely and effective communication to stakeholders, including IT teams, management, and end-users, regarding server maintenance, outages, and issues.

B)Skills:

• Proficiency in Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience in IIS, FTP, SFTP, Active directory, GPO, File Server.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

C)Qualifications:

• Graduation or Post Graduate
