Job Description

Job Title:

Manager / Assistant Manager Legal

Experience Required:

3-5 Years with corporate or law firm

1. Notices/ Replies

Sending notices within TAT from receipt of request from stakeholders.

Drafting and sending of replies/counter replies to Notices/replies issued by DPOs, TRAI, MIB

2. Effective management of notices and response to notices including TRAI, MIB

Issuing notices within TAT hours from receipt of request from RO in compliance with TRAI Regulations.

3. Effective resolution of Court cases

Follow up Coordination of court cases with advocates

4. Piracy Control

Taking all necessary steps for preventing the piracy of channels of ZEEL including digital piracy; Gathering Piracy Information; Co-ordinating with local authorities for conducting raids assisting in investigation to prosecute in accused persons; Issuing Notices

5. Enabling monitoring and decision making through provision of information via MIS Status Reports

Preparation of MIS of cases Status Reports as per requirement: adhoc and periodic

Properly and timely updating the Management Information System (MIS) regarding our Litigations

6. Effective Team Management

Monitoring of Legal activities

7. Filing Petition and maintain records

Ensuring complete assistance in favorable outcome of pending Litigations and recovery of entire outstanding amount owed to ZEEL Filing recovery petitions, suits for injunction and damages and maintaining proper records for all the copyright cases. Defending cases before the Hon ble TDSAT and other courts.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Educational Qualification

Minimum LL.B from a reputed law college/University

Preferred Skills:

Having sound knowledge of TRAI regulations, litigations including TDSAT and other various courts/forums etc

Good drafting skills

Documentation, maintaining MIS

Follow up Coordination with Lawyers and stakeholders for providing necessary information w.r.t petitions, replies, evidence etc

Anti-piracy actions

CRITICAL ATTRIBUTES:

Sound Knowledge of Legal Laws and Judicial Process

Intelligent with high level of Integrity

Logical and quick to grasp

Fluent in English and Hindi
