Qualifications & Experience

1. Education:

   At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ECE/CS) or a Master's degree in Science in Electronics and Communication (ECE), Computer Science (CS), or Information Technology.

2. Experience:

   At least

   3 years

   in a related area of Technology and IP.

3. Preferred Certifications:

   Candidates who are Patent Agents, or hold a Diploma in IP or LLB (IP Hons).

Key Responsibilities

1. Patent Analytics & Strategy:

   Conduct data mining from patent and non-patent literature to draw inferences and analyze patents for technological landscape reports.

2. Invention Evaluation:

   Evaluate new inventions, provide patentability opinions, and suggest design-arounds for non-patentable inventions.

3. Drafting & Prosecution:

   Support patent drafting, review drafts for claim scoping, and review responses to patent examination reports.

4. Compliance & Analysis:

   Evaluate external publications for IP compliance and provide support for claim overlap analysis and Standard mapping.

5. Tools & AI:

   Utilize AI-based IP tools and advanced search strategies for analytics.

6. IP Culture:

   Generate content for IP awareness, support training sessions, and compile data required for IP Audits.

Required Skills & Knowledge

1. Technical Domain:

   Well-versed in key concepts of 6G/5G/4G Telecommunication, Wireless Technologies, Chipsets, TCP/IP Layers, Cloud, Devices, and Media delivery.

2. Legal Knowledge:

   Knowledge of Intellectual Property laws of India, US, and EPO is preferred.

3. Software Proficiency:

   Sound knowledge of MS Office, specifically advanced functions like Excel macros and formulae, as well as AI IP tools.

4. Communication:

   Excellent written and oral communication skills.
