As a Manager, International Education & Counselling based in Trivandrum, you will play a crucial role in launching and scaling the new International Education division. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of leadership, admissions, business development, counseling, and operational oversight. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Division Leadership & Strategy:** - Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan and strategy to achieve ambitious admissions and revenue targets. - Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of Study Abroad Counselors and Administrators, fostering a culture of excellence and integrity. - Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all stages of the admissions cycle. - Manage and monitor the division's budget and performance metrics. - **Admissions & Business Development:** - Drive and oversee all admissions targets across different territories/countries. - Build and maintain strong relationships with university partners and relevant educational bodies. - Develop and implement marketing strategies to generate qualified leads and increase brand awareness. - **Counselling & Operational Oversight:** - Serve as the senior expert and lead counselor, handling complex cases and setting an example in student interactions. - Oversee the end-to-end student counselling process, ensuring high ethical standards and providing impartial advice to students and families. **Qualifications Required:** - **Experience:** 5+ years in international education, study abroad admissions, or student recruitment, with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role. - **Education:** Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred). - **Leadership Traits:** Ability to inspire and build a new team, excellent communication and emotional intelligence, commitment to ethical counseling. - **Functional Skills:** Deep knowledge of international education systems, strong organizational and reporting skills, proficiency with CRM software.
