Job Description

As a Corporate Tax Manager- GST for India region, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and strategy for our operations in the region. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure adherence to tax laws and tax accounting while optimizing tax position.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and review GST filings for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Proficiency in Tax Accounting
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's overall tax liability while maximizing cash flow and profitability.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company, proactively advising on necessary adjustments to tax strategies.
Coordinate and oversee inquiries, working with external auditors and tax authorities to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with finance, legal, and other departments to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business processes and transactions.

Qualifications:

CA with 4-5 years of experience in Indirect Tax compliances and planning. Tax Accounting knowledge would be preferred.
Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations, particularly as they apply to multinational corporations.
Proven ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop practical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience with tax software and ERP systems- SAP ; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
