Manager - EventsWeare looking for enterprising and dynamic individuals who can manage the whole process from theplanning stage, right through to managing the event and carrying out the postevent evaluation. The role is primarily hands-on and often involves working aspart of a team.Key responsibilitiesPlan event from start to finish according to requirements, targetaudience and objectivesMake suggestions to enhance the event s successPrepare budgets and ensure adherenceSource and negotiate with vendors and suppliersCoordinate all operations
Approve all aspects before the day of the eventEnsure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problemsthat might occurAnalyze the event s success and prepare reportsKey Skills and CompetenciesSkilled in project managementProficient in MS OfficeOutstanding communication and negotiation abilityExcellent relationship and organisation skillsProblem solvingCustomer service orientationTeam player with leadership skills Quick learner and ready to adapt to changeExperience in projects or events done at local levelwould be an added advantage.
