About the Role

The Manager (Health) will drive strategic growth and outreach initiatives under FirstHealth, focusing on expanding access to diagnostics, telemedicine, and community healthcare programs. Based in Guwahati, the role requires frequent travel across Northeastern states to oversee program implementation, engage with stakeholders, and ensure achievement of growth and impact targets.

This leadership role demands strategic vision, business development acumen, and the ability to influence and mentor a growing network of healthcare associates and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to expand healthcare services while achieving growth and revenue targets.
• Build, maintain, and grow a high-performing network of associates, local partners, and healthcare providers across the Northeastern states.
• Drive the rollout of mini diagnostic labs in underserved areas, ensuring adoption and utilization targets are met.
• Promote and integrate telemedicine and digital health solutions to increase service reach and impact.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations with government agencies, NGOs, and hospitals to scale FirstHealth programs.
• Build and manage a pipeline of healthcare associates and certified technicians to support program expansion and target achievement.
• Monitor field operations to ensure performance against sales, adoption, and impact targets.
• Track, analyze, and report performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and drive growth initiatives.
• Optimize project budgets, resources, and timelines to achieve financial and operational objectives.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and business updates for senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives to meet and exceed predefined sales targets, contributing directly to organizational growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant science discipline preferably in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) from a recognized university.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in healthcare project management, rural health programs, or CSR healthcare initiatives
• Strong understanding of diagnostics, healthcare systems, and government health schemes.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and develop associate networks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proper understanding of the demographic of the north east India.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Northeast India.
• Experience with digital health and telemedicine e solutions will be an added advantage.
• Target- and results-oriented mindset with the ability to link operations to strategic growth.
