Our renewable energy vertical, FirstPower, is dedicated to promoting sustainable energy access across Northeast India. We focus on implementing solar power projects in schools, households, and community facilities, while also building local capacity through training programs for technicians and entrepreneurs. By enabling clean energy adoption, we aim to improve reliability, reduce dependency on fossil fuels, and foster green livelihoods in the region.

About the Role
The Executive (FirstPower) will support business development and project adoption under FirstPower, assisting in securing new project opportunities, engaging partners, and ensuring progress toward defined sales and adoption targets. Based in Guwahati, this role involves frequent travel across Northeastern states to support field activities, engage stakeholders, and drive renewable energy program growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in driving sales and adoption of solar and renewable energy projects across schools, households, and community facilities.
• Support senior managers in identifying and securing new business opportunities and partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations.
• Build, maintain, and expand networks of local technicians, associates, and renewable energy partners to support target achievement.
• Assist in coordinating project execution with vendors, contractors, and local associates, aligning with revenue and adoption goals.
• Support training and capacity-building programs for local technicians and entrepreneurs, ensuring alignment with growth targets.
• Conduct field visits to engage stakeholders, promote solutions, and achieve adoption targets.
• Track, document, and report project progress, adoption metrics, and partner engagement in CRM and digital platforms.
• Work towards achieving defined sales, adoption, and operational targets set by the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience, preferably in renewable energy project support or solar initiatives.
• Basic understanding of solar energy systems, renewable energy solutions, and government schemes.
• Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital platforms for data management and reporting.
• Ability to travel extensively across Northeast India.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working under guidance in field settings.
