Founded by alumni of IIT Bombay and Harvard Business School, with experience at Mahindra & Mahindra, Swiggy, and BCG, Orbit combines deep field insight with strong technical expertise. Our journey began in 2024, in the fields, where we witnessed the everyday challenges faced by farmers. That experience led to the creation of the Orbit PT Pro — a next-generation Electric Power Tiller, engineered for performance, safety, and comfort. Role Description


A. Strategy, Planning & Data Management

  • Conduct strategic market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for product enhancement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders like KVKs, agri-cooperatives, NGOs, government bodies.
  • Responsible for creating plans (weekly/ seasonal/ annual) and working across teams to monitor and deliver the plan
  • Running fast iterations and driving low cost pilots/ experiments
  • Building data and metrics dashboards to track business performance

B. Marketing and Advertising

  • Performance Analysis

    : Track the performance of marketing initiatives and lead funnels; use insights to refine strategy and improve outcomes.
  • Branding & Campaigns

    : Design and execute cost-effective branding strategies and marketing campaigns tailored to our audience, using both traditional and digital media.
  • Supporting BD Team in On-Ground Activation (BTL) and Lead Generation

    : Support business development team to plan and run BTL activities like roadshows, demos, events, and outreach programs to directly engage with farmers. Drive qualified leads via field activities, demo plots, social media, referral programs, influencer partnerships, and digital platforms.

  • Farmer family background if possible (not a must)
  • Able to navigate challenging situations with sound judgment and a steady approach
  • Passion for impact and making a difference on ground
  • Should be willing to embrace a start-up culture of iterations, failed attempts, ambiguity etc
