Job Description

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional to join our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a solid grasp of P&L understanding, excellent Excel skills, and a flexible, problem-solving mindset. Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a significant plus.


This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting functions, tax and statutory compliance (including GST, TDS, and Transfer Pricing), financial reporting, and supporting internal/external audits. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage ad-hoc reporting requests are essential.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts in line with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure proper ledger scrutiny and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Support in preparing and analyzing Profit & Loss statements and other financial reports.


Compliance & Taxation

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Assist in Transfer Pricing documentation and compliance as required.
  • Liaise with tax consultants for assessments, notices, and audits.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards.


Financial Reporting & Audit Support

  • Prepare schedules, documentation, and reconciliations for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in preparation of MIS reports and management dashboards.
  • Handle ad-hoc reporting requirements as requested by management or investors.


Qualifications & Skills

  • CA (Qualified) / CA Inter / CA Dropout with relevant hands-on experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
  • Prior experience or exposure to Transfer Pricing (TP) is a plus.
  • Proficient in Tally and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel skills are a must).
  • Exposure to tools like Zoho, QuickBooks, or SAP is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Startup experience is highly desirable.
