Job Description

Role Overview: As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team that oversees building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or a portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings. Your role falls under the Facilities Management functional area, focusing on the operational aspects of a set of assets and providing support to Property Managers for repairs and investment plans. Key Responsibilities: - Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor their training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring processes. - Schedule and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track deadlines while providing mentorship and coaching. - Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by collaborating with technicians, vendors, and contractors. - Maintain positive client relationships, conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues, and prepare/manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. - Perform facility inspections for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Identify operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities. - Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities, oversee vendor relationships, and review price quotes for procurement. - Conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices, and lead by example in alignment with CBRE RISE values. - Apply discipline knowledge to achieve team and departmental objectives, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues. - Identify with troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day and moderately complex issues within existing systems and processes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. A valid driver's license is required, with Facility Management certification preferred. - Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance appraisal, and retention is preferred. - Ability to handle sensitive information, convey performance expectations, and resolve problems effectively. - Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness within the job discipline and department. - Strong organizational skills with a curious mindset and advanced math skills for complex calculations including percentages, fractions, and financial-related figures.,
