Job Description

Role Summary:

We are looking for a driven and result-oriented professional to handle the TCVM (Telecalling Voice Model) vertical within the E-Commerce channel at HDFC Life. This is a performance-driven sales role, focused on driving cross-sell and up-sell of insurance products to existing customers through tele-calling.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, strategizing, and executing sales campaigns, managing a team of both inbound/ outbound agents, and achieving aggressive revenue targets using data-backed insights.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for the TCVM vertical.
  • Drive cross-sell and up-sell initiatives to existing customers using outbound voice-based communication.
  • Conceptualize and execute product-specific sales campaigns based on customer profiles, behavior, and product suitability.
  • Build and maintain robust sales pipelines using daily calling data and lead funnels.

Team & Call Centre Management:

  • Lead and coordinate with a team of tele-calling agents to maximize productivity and conversions.
  • Ensure consistent agent performance through target setting, tracking, and real-time feedback loops.
  • Identify training needs, sales enablers, and process improvements to improve conversion rates and reduce drop-offs.
  • Understand /study /research competition, Work with CC to define Focused Sale script and sales Punchlines , Track performance sales scripts and select the best script which willnhep improve sales

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Analyze customer databases to segment and prioritize calling lists based on product relevance and purchase propensity.
  • Work closely with the analytics and lead management teams to allocate the right data to the right campaigns.
  • Track performance metrics daily, and fine-tune strategies to maximize efficiency and sales outcomes

Campaign Management & Execution:

  • Design and execute tactical and strategic campaigns aimed at enhancing sales volumes.
  • Closely monitor campaign-wise performance and take corrective actions where needed.
  • Liaise with internal teams including product, marketing, operations, and tech to ensure smooth execution.

Reporting & Governance:

  • Provide regular sales reports, performance dashboards, and MIS updates to leadership.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and discipline across the calling processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:

    3-5 years of strong experience in sales(Insurance only), preferably in insurance, financial services, fintech, or voice-based e-commerce.
  • Creative

    Should be highly creative and should have out of box thinking approach , should have Zeal to try different ideas and make them work for process
  • Sales Leadership:

    Proven ability to manage sales teams and deliver on aggressive revenue targets.
  • Data Orientation:

    Hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, sales dashboards, lead management tools; ability to analyze data to optimize sales efforts.
  • Execution Focus:

    High sense of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to drive outcomes through large tele-calling setups.
  • Communication:

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to influence and drive performance through teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Exposure to CRM platforms and voice-based sales environments.
  • Prior experience in managing outsourced or captive call centre partners.
