As Credit Controller CP CT CC, you will be responsible to oversee credit control function of CP CT CC and will be part of Business Control team.
The responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- To Monitor Accounts Receivables and maintain liquidity by driving timely collection from customers as per payment terms and credit risks are minimized. To keep record/minutes of reviews for followup thereon
- To Monitor and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers/dealers through detailed financial analysis and credit checks.
- T o Develop, implement, and maintain credit control policies and procedures with business controller to alignment to company goals
- To evaluate terms and keep tracking of LC, BG till closure or collection. Regular interaction with finance services and bank as required for timely execution
- To implement and maximise usage of automated tools / procedures for receivables management
- To send customer statements on periodical basis, follow up for responses and reconciliation thereof
- To constantly review and maintain credit limits and payment terms for new/ existing accounts.
- To manage any invoice disputes, achieving customer satisfaction in all instances And maintaining strong customer relationships with transparency and negotiation skill
- To collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, finance services, and operations for improved timely accounting and dispute resolution. Also to provide leadership, guidance, training, and motivation to credit control team and cross functional teams involved in the receivables management.
- To undertake regular reporting to CP CT CC Management for receivables, debt aging, credit risk exposure, and dealer payment performance for senior management. and maintain provisions thereon
- To provide good tools and analysis in time to the management to support our ambitious targets for growth, profitability and working capital management
- Interaction with auditors and timely responses/compliances in relation to audit
- To liaison with Holding and lawyers for legal cases.
- To ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal controls related to credit management and collections.
- Any other activity in relation to credit control
To succeed, you will need Experience Requirements
- You should have minimum of 6-7 years experience in credit control function and business performance mapping against financial KPIs for receivables management.
- Working knowledge and proficiency in SAP , MS office applications is a must. Hands on experience of Power BI and other latest technology would be an advantage.
Good Commercial knowledge and business understanding. Strong knowledge of credit control principles and risk assessment techniques. Good understanding of accounting and financial statements. Fair knowledge of taxation and other regulatory framework. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Educational requirements
University Degree, post-graduation in finance . Professional degree will be an added advantage.
