Job Description

As a candidate for the role of Development/Purchase & Costing with knowledge of Automotive New Technology Components, your role will involve: - Analyzing costing (ZBC), conducting quote analysis, developing costing and negotiation strategies, and negotiating with suppliers. - Performing teardown & functional analysis, estimating costs, benchmarking at part level, and conducting techno-commercial comparisons for components such as Wiring Harness, Lamps, HVAC, Controllers, Wiping System, High Voltage Compressor, ADAS, Sensors, etc. - Conducting Vehicle Cost Analysis, understanding P&L, and preparing related documents. - Comparing components with competitor vehicle parts. - Generating innovative value enhancement and design to cost proposals. - Applying techno-commercial knowledge for components like Wiring Harness, Lamps, HVAC, Controllers, Wiping System, High Voltage Compressor, ADAS, Sensors. - Demonstrating self-initiative, teamwork skills, and a passion for analysis and design intent. - Generating ideas for cost/weight reduction and new technology. - Possessing excellent communication skills for verbal, written, and report communication. - Having proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is an added advantage. In addition, you should have the following competencies: - Comprehensive technical and commercial knowledge of automotive/electrical systems, subsystems, and parts. - Ability to plan and schedule activities effectively. - Effective communication skills with peers, vendors, and machine makers. - Positive attitude towards undertaking new initiatives. Behavioral requirements for this role include being a good team player, demonstrating sound integrity, and displaying good manners. Educational Qualifications required for this role are: - B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.,
