Role Summary :

Role & responsibilities

Business Development & Sales : Strategic Planning & Market Expansion: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed annual revenue targets for briquets, pellets, and FOM. Drive market expansion strategies aligned with the company's focus on India's clean energy ecosystem. Lead demand and supply planning across B2B, CGD (City Gas Distribution), and retail channels (where applicable). • Lead Genera on & Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and acquire new B2B clients, primarily industrial end users (e.g., thermal power plants, cement, and textile industries for fuel) and the agricultural sector for FOM. • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers (CXO level, procurement heads, boiler engineers) and stakeholders. • Nego a on & Deal Closure: Lead nego a ons for complex supply agreements (spot and long-term contracts), ensuring all sales agreements adhere to legal and corporate guidelines. • Technical Sales: Provide technical exper se and conduct product demonstra ons, effec vely communica ng the value proposi on, specifica ons (like GCV/calorific value), and environmental benefits of biomass fuels and FOM. • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring mely follow-ups and comprehensive repor ng to senior management. • Government & Tender Management: Iden fy opportuni es to par cipate in government tenders and align business development strategies with na onal ini a ves, such as India's net-zero aspira ons and co-firing mandates. • Sales Model Opmiza on: Design and execute efficient sales models to unlock product o ake in varied demand zones, reduce logis cs dependency, and improve Net Sales Realiza on (NSR) through tenders and direct B2B deals. Marke ng & Market Intelligence • Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct market research to iden fy markets & growth opportuni es for all byproducts. U lize tools for data-driven decision-making & repor ng. • Brand Awareness: Collaborate with internal teams to align marke ng efforts with business objec ves, manage content crea on for marke ng materials, and represent the company at industry forums and trade shows. • Product Posi oning: Refine the value proposi on and posi oning of products in the market, highligh ng sustainability and return on investment for clients. Cross-func onal Coordina on & Management • Logis cs Coordina on & Supply Chain Execu on: Oversee and manage the end-to-end outbound supply chain, coordina ng dispatches from mul ple produc on plants to ensure mely delivery based on plant performance, off-take, and seasonality. • Repor ng & Data-Backed Planning: Prepare and analyze periodic reports and sales dashboards, providing ac onable insights for con nuous improvement. Ensure all growth ini a ves are driven through strategic execu on and data-backed planning, coordina ng cross-func onally to achieve objec ves. • Financial & Budgetary Oversight: Develop proposals, manage budgets, and monitor costs to ensure profitability & cost efficiency of all business development ac vi es and new ventures. • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership teams, produc on units, and government bodies, ensuring alignment on project execu on and statutory approvals. • Sustainability & Value Proposi on: Clearly communicate the environmental benefits and value proposi on (e.g., carbon footprint reduc on, soil health revitaliza on through FOM) of the products to clients and stakeholders.
