Hospital Center Head Job Description The Hospital Center Head is responsible for the overall administration, management, and growth of a hospital unit/center. They ensure smooth operations, quality patient care, financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Management

• Oversee day-to-day hospital operations across all departments.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational goals.
• Ensure smooth coordination between clinical, nursing, and support services.
• Monitor performance metrics (bed occupancy, patient inflow, turnaround time).

Patient Care & Service Excellence

• Ensure delivery of safe, ethical, and high-quality patient care.
• Implement patient satisfaction programs and grievance redressal mechanisms.
• Monitor compliance with clinical protocols and accreditation standards (NABH, JCI).

Financial & Business Management

• Drive revenue growth while controlling costs.
• Monitor budgets, billing processes, and profitability of the hospital center.
• Develop business development initiatives, tie-ups, and CSR programs.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to healthcare laws, statutory requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Supervise audits (clinical, financial, operational, safety).
• Implement infection control, biomedical waste management, and safety standards.

Human Resource & Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and manage multidisciplinary teams (doctors, nurses, admin staff).
• Ensure recruitment, training, appraisal, and retention of staff.
• Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build relationships with doctors, patients, corporate clients, and community partners.
• Represent the hospital in media, events, and external forums.
