This role is perfect for someone who loves diving deep into numbers but can also zoom out to see the bigger picture. Your work won’t just stop at insights; you’ll influence product launches, guide business decisions, and ensure strategies translate into results across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Category Analysis:

  Deep-dive into subcategories (e.g., sunscreens, moisturizers, face washes) to understand consumer behavior, sales performance, and competitive landscape. 

• Data Synthesis:

  Leverage multiple data sources (internal sales, marketplace data, search trends, climate/seasonality, and social media trends) to generate insights. 

• Strategy Development:

  Work with the SVP – Category to shape strategies on product positioning, pricing, discounting, and marketing interventions. 

• New Launch Planning:

  Analyze whitespace opportunities, consumer needs, and competitor offerings to recommend new product launches and go-to-market strategies. 

• Execution & Monitoring:

  Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, supply chain, product) to ensure recommendations are implemented. Track performance, identify gaps, and refine strategies as needed. 

• Market Intelligence:

  Stay on top of category and industry trends, including consumer preferences, competitor playbooks, and cultural shifts. 

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–4 years of experience in

  strategy, consulting, business analytics, category management, or related roles

  . 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights. 

• Advanced Excel

  skills necessary 
• Ability to think

  big picture

  while staying detail-oriented. 
• Strong communication skills - able to structure and present insights clearly. 
• Self-starter with bias for action, able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. 
• Passion for consumer-first thinking and an interest in the consumer, beauty, or personal care space is a plus.
