Job Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring that: o Ensure sales targets are met as per corporate budgetary allocations and prepare comprehensive sales

plans for short term and long term; o Initiate, develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve the goals of the division and in line with

overall corporate objectives; o Prepare and monitor sales and operations budgets for the division; o Initiate cost controls mechanisms to achieve divisional profits o Ensure tenders are submitted on time as per tender procedures; o Follow upon pending quotes on a monthly basis and provide report to Commercial Manager; o Submit report to Commercial Manager on a monthly basis for all unsuccessful tenders; o Submit routine and/or other reports as determined from time to time by Commercial Manager on a

monthly basis; o Provide assistance and guidance to team members on jobs undertaken; o Ensure that quality of work is maintained for all jobs undertaken, and liaise with the Operations and

Logistics Manager on programming jobs ; o Maintain professional and high level of customer service at all times; o Ensure that all OHS requirements are fulfilled and statutory obligations are met for the division; o Provide on the job training to divisional staff to increase efficiency and productivity within the division; o Ensure timely submission of all paperwork and accurate allocation to job(s) as per company systems

and procedures; o Complete KPI assessments for divisional staff as per guidelines; o Complete monthly reviews and projections and provide update to Commercial Manager and Financial

Business Manager; o Ensure that invoicing for customers are done on time and as per the systems and procedures; o Update WIP report on time as per systems and procedures; o Provide Purchasing Officer with Bill of Materials for sourcing and subsequent ordering and delivery

on time; o Ensure that sub contractors fulfill statutory obligations when they undertake any project; o Any other duties as delegated by General Manager/CEO o Achieve an average rating of at least 80% (based on a rating from 1 to 5 – 5 being the highest) customer

satisfaction as evidenced from Job Completion Reports; and o Nil return jobs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
