The OEM Business Development Manager will front-end the business relationship with OEMs in the E-Vehicles space, taking accountability for several key customers. The role involves driving revenue growth by identifying new partnership opportunities and converting OEMs who currently use competitor products to adopt our solutions. The goal is to create OEM connections to sales for Lithium Batteries and increase revenue.
Key AccountabilitiesKey Account Management: Build and sustain relationships with large customers.
New Business Opportunities: Develop plans for market penetration/reach in the respective region to improve market share.
Market Intelligence: Provide information on competitors and suggest strategies.
Lead Generation: Identify, generate, and convert leads into sales.
Reporting: Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily progress reports.
Channel Development: Develop channels to drive sales of focus products.
Customer Interaction: Travel to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
Sales Closure: Utilize outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.
Target Achievement: Achieve sales and collection targets.
Skills & CompetenciesAbility to develop and implement strategic and tactical business plans.
Hands-on approach with direct responsibility for driving the business.
Knowledge of products & services, customer segmentation, and channel management.
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in the automotive industry or related field.
Knowledge of battery technology and renewable energy.
Ability to develop and implement business strategies.
Techno-commercial capability.
Analytical and strategic mindset.
Understanding of contracts and contract management.
Customer relationship management and profitability understanding.
