Job Description

As a Manager - Branding & Communication at a leading NBFC Company in Chennai, your role will involve developing and implementing a comprehensive corporate branding strategy to support the organization's mission and objectives. You will be responsible for managing and directing the branding and communication team to ensure consistent messaging across all internal and external communications, including public relations/media communications and social media. Working closely with the PR team, you will build messaging strategies, develop PR plans, and generate storylines for marketing campaigns. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, HR, Legal, and all SBUs, will be essential to ensure consistent communication across the organization. Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies will be crucial to continuously improve branding strategies. Additionally, you will partner with the D&I Team on matters related to diversity and inclusion, develop and manage budgets, timelines, and performance metrics, and oversee CSR programs, including philanthropy, community outreach, and sustainability initiatives. Your role will also involve managing external events, such as conferences and tradeshows, along with internal communication efforts like employee newsletters and town hall meetings. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate branding strategy - Manage and direct the branding and communication team - Work closely with the PR team to build messaging strategies and develop PR plans - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent communication - Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies - Partner with the D&I Team on diversity and inclusion matters - Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and performance metrics - Manage and direct CSR programs, including philanthropy and community outreach - Raise awareness of the company's social responsibility commitments Qualifications Required: - MBA in Marketing from Tier I or II B-School - 8+ years of experience in corporate branding - Experience in handling a team of Branding, Marketing, and Communications professionals - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience in crisis management and issue resolution - Well-experienced in vendor management and media planning - Excellent organizational and project management skills - Proven track record in building and managing high-performing teams - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams - Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment,
