Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Finance Professional to manage our Billing & Receivables function. The ideal candidate will lead a team of 6–7 members, manage client interactions related to receivables, and ensure accuracy in billing, timely collections, and compliance with GST. The role also involves close coordination with Sales Managers for contract/billing alignment and offers growth opportunities into broader accounting and finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Billing & Receivables team (6–7 members).

Handle client communication related to receivables, billing discrepancies, and payment follow-ups.

Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and revenue recognition.

Collaborate with Sales Managers to align billing with client contracts and resolve disputes, if any.

Oversee GST compliance and other statutory requirements related to billing and receivables.

Monitor outstanding receivables and implement effective collection strategies.

Improve billing processes and drive efficiency in operations.

Prepare regular MIS reports and present to management.

Support in broader accounting, audit, and compliance functions as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

4–6 years of experience in billing, receivables, and finance operations.

Proven experience in client handling (domestic or international) for receivables-related processes.

Strong knowledge of GST and statutory compliances.

Prior experience in team management (leading 5+ members).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in accounting tools and MS Excel.

Ability to transition into wider accounting/finance roles in the future.

Education

B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter/MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
