Manager BD & Sales


As Manager BD & Sales, you'll be instrumental in expanding Ember and Edge's reach and impact. You'll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and effectively communicating the value of our comprehensive entertainment services. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent sales acumen and a commitment to exceeding targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:

    Identify and pursue new business opportunities for event organizers, encompassing bespoke wedding entertainment, large-scale corporate events, festivals, and more.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Proposal Development:

    Create compelling proposals and presentations that effectively showcase Ember and Edge's services and value proposition.
  • Market Research:

    Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for growth.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with the creative, operations, and artist management teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
  • Negotiation & Closing:

    Lead contract negotiations and successfully close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Deadline Management:

    Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and deadlines for business development initiatives.
  • Prospect Business Creation:

    Proactively identify and engage with potential clients, generating new leads and developing a robust sales pipeline.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in business development and sales within the entertainment, events, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of event design, show running, logistical planning, and talent curation.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with potential clients.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable navigating a dynamic industry.
