Manager - Academic Operations

The Manager - Academic Operations is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of academic technology systems and processes that support teaching, learning, and institutional administration. This role oversees the day-to-day management of ERP, LMS, and SIS platforms to maintain data integrity, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction. The incumbent will collaborate closely with academic departments, IT services, and administrative offices to streamline workflows, enhance digital engagement, and support evidence-based decision-making. A key focus of the position is to integrate academic operations with institutional goals, ensuring that technology-enabled systems effectively support curriculum delivery, student learning, and academic quality assurance.

Essential Qualification

Graduate in any stream.

Desired Qualification

Master’s degree in any discipline. Exposure to data analytics tools preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of ERP, LMS, and SIS platforms including user access and troubleshooting.
• Provide training and support to faculty and students in educational technologies.
• Collect, validate, and maintain student and academic records across systems.
• Generate attendance, enrollment, and performance reports for academic review.
• Support integration of feedback systems into ERP/SIS for curriculum improvement.
• Collaborate with IT, Registrar, and Quality Assurance offices to ensure data consistency.
• Document procedures and contribute to knowledge bases/user guides.

Key Skills (Mandatory)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent data entry, reporting, and analytical skills
• Familiarity with ERP, LMS, SIS, and other educational technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Key Skills (Desired but Optional)

• Knowledge of SQL or database queries
• Experience with online exam platforms, e-portfolios, or digital credentialing tools
• Exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Comfort with emerging education technologies (AI tutors, adaptive learning platforms)
