Alternatively, candidates with a Ph.D. and relevant experience in modeling, design and simulation of machine elements may also be considered. Should be willing to learn new computational techniques and experimental procedures, with respect to mechanical/electronics/chemical engineering/chemistry/physics and design. Capable of working with existing/future facilities of SDC and actively contribute to coordinating with or initiating new set-ups as needed. Supervising platform/instruments in the Centre and downstream labs in the end-user departments. Enthusiastic in finding timely, cost-effective and economical solutions related to computational, testing and field trial platforms. Coordination between students, research scholars, faculty, departments, vendor, service provider, maintenance team, etc. Preparing specifications, technical evaluation and implementation of computational, designing, prototyping, field trials and test-run procedures. Maintenance and support of platforms, hardware, software and dry-lab/wet-lab instruments. Effectively work with the principals and vendors to quickly trouble shoot and make operational the processing platforms in a cost-effective manner. Any other assignment given by the Head/Co-Head/CIO/Dean. As a member of our team, your main responsibilities will include designing, simulating, and measuring antennas. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing reports and presentations, as well as coordinating with the lab research group. To be considered for this role, you must have a B.E / BTech in Electronics Communication/ Telecommunication/Engineering or M.Sc. in Electronics Sciences or equivalent from a recognised university. It is preferred that you have a valid GATE/ NET or similar other national level examinations, however, candidates without these qualifications can also apply. A strong knowledge of EM simulator is essential for this position, and any experience in antenna measurement would be considered desirable.
