Management Trainee (Marketing)

AICRA works closely with industry leaders, startups, academia, and government bodies through memberships, exhibitions, conferences, awards, and policy initiatives.

Role Overview

The Management Trainee role at AICRA is designed for enthusiastic professionals who want to build a career in business development, sales, and public relations within an industry association. The trainee will support revenue generation and outreach initiatives across memberships, exhibitions, sponsorships, delegate registrations, and awards, while also assisting in PR and communication activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sales of AICRA memberships across individual, startup, and corporate categories
• Support exhibition space sales and sponsorship opportunities for AICRA events and expos
• Assist in delegate registrations and sales for conferences, summits, and seminars
• Support awards nominations, partnerships, and sales initiatives
• Coordinate with potential members, exhibitors, sponsors, and delegates for onboarding and follow-ups
• Assist in planning and executing PR activities, including press releases, media outreach, and stakeholder communication
• Support marketing and promotional campaigns for events, awards, and memberships
• Maintain databases, sales trackers, CRM updates, and reporting dashboards
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for smooth execution of events and campaigns
• Participate in meetings, client interactions, and presentations under guidance

Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media Studies, or related fields
• Strong interest in sales, business development, marketing, and public relations
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of events, exhibitions, or industry associations is an advantage
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
