Management Professor

Role & responsibilities

• Teach and examine courses at all levels undergraduate, master, and higher research degrees through lectures, seminars, tutorials, coursework, and personal supervision.
• Provide high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Hybrid Education setting, particularly in finance and related subjects.
• Evaluate and grade projects/examinations and track student progress.
• Contribute to the Curriculum Area/Departments development plan and implementation.
• Use a variety of delivery methods to stimulate learning appropriate to student needs and syllabus demands.
• Ensure the curriculum area provides a range of teaching that complements the university's strategic objectives.
• Assist in the process of curriculum development and change to ensure continued relevance to the needs of students, examining awarding bodies, and our aims and strategic objectives.
• Evaluate and grade projects/examinations, tracking student progress.
• Ensure a high-quality learning experience for students that meets internal and external quality standards.
• Continue personal development including subject knowledge and teaching methods.
• Contribute to the development of specialist teaching and learning provision, including short courses, in finance and associated disciplines.

• Proven excellence in teaching, with the ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective finance courses.
• Ability to teach and examine courses at all levels undergraduate, master, and higher research degrees.
• Proficiency in using a variety of teaching methods and technologies to accommodate different learning styles.

Preferred candidate profile

• A doctoral-level qualification in an area of academic relevance to the work of the Department. (OR)
• Master's degree in Management/Business or related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
