Maintenance Supervisor

Role Overview: As a Supervisor Maintenance in the Mechanical department of AgChem Brands Operations at Panoli-02, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and performing mechanical maintenance activities safely, meeting all statutory and organizational requirements within budgeted costs and time. You will assist the Assistant Manager/Manager Maintenance in your respective areas and ensure equal alignment with business and organizational requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the reporting Manager in maximizing equipment availability by minimizing breakdowns - Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of different plant equipments - Aid in manpower utilization related to maintenance - Manage systems related to plant maintenance including ensuring availability of critical spare parts/consumables, quick response to breakdown jobs, maintaining good housekeeping, identifying causes for breakdowns, improving maintenance practices, ensuring quality of jobs, executing product changes over work, and following safety systems like work permits and PPEs - Initiate cost-saving measures through vendor development, recycle/reconditioning of valuable items from scrap, and implementing cost-saving measures in the maintenance function Qualification Required: - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - 4-7 years of work experience in chemical processed-based industries like Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Fine/Specialty Chemicals - Functional competencies include the ability to handle day-to-day maintenance and operation of Instrumentation maintenance, good analytical skills, system approach to analyze problems, ability to carry out corrective actions after analyzing frequent breakdowns in plant equipment, exposure in handling MSGL equipment, RVD, ANF, and pumps with Mechanical seals, and knowledge of QMS and ISO systems Additional Information: Interaction Complexity and Team Work: - You will interact with the Head (Engineering/Production), Sr. Manager/Manager (Maintenance/Electrical/Instrumentation/HSE/HR/Production), and Supervisors (Production/Utility/Maintenance) as and when required for technical and administrative purposes.,
