Job Description

Maintenance Manager


You are expected to actively manage the maintenance team at our factory in Podalakur Mandal, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh.

You must work with multiple departments in the Company and develop systems, procedures, plans, and activities to support organizational goals.

You will be a key part of the factory’s engineering team.

You must be self-driven, timely finish tasks with high accuracy, and take initiative for new tasks.

The following are some of the requirements and responsibilities. It changes from time to time. You must be flexible to take care of the needs of the Company.

Knowledge Requirement:

1. You must be comfortable in English (read, write, speak). You should be able to understand documents and work with government agencies.

a. You should be able to read, interpret, apply, the electrical, hydraulic, and engineering drawings for various parts, sub-assemblies, components, machines etc.

a) You must have hands-on experience inn handling electrical, hydraulic and mechanical maintenance.

b) You will be responsible for record keeping at the factory for maintenance and to comply with various certifications.

c) You must know how to keep version control of drawings, and record of old and new versions, with changes documented for compliance and tracking.

d) Communicate with our teams across India, and our principals abroad.

2. Must have Experience in power system.

3. Must be thorough in Handling of drives, PLC.

4. Must have System Implementation Knowledge ISO 9001, TS 16949

5. Must have handled (Mechanical presses, Welding machines, Powder coating plant, Assembly conveyors etc.)

6. Having license for handling 33 KV line.

7. Able to implement Preventive and Predictive maintenance.

8. Must be an established leader and have the capability to lead people of different skills.

9. Must be able to drive TPM culture in the company.

10. Must be able to work:

a) Across many departments e.g., management, sales, spare-parts, accounts, administration, branding, warehouse etc., to improve the performance of the factory and the Company in general.

b) With vendors domestic and foreign, to ensure that designs are done in a timely and cost-effective manner.

c) With internal and external teams to develop new products.
