Job Summary:
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance, repair, and upkeep operations of Aminia Restaurant’s facilities and equipment. This role ensures that the restaurant environment is safe, fully functional, and conducive to smooth business operations by managing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures specific to restaurant operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant's electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, and building facilities to identify issues and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Plan and oversee repair and installation activities to minimize downtime and disruption.
  • Supervise and allocate tasks to maintenance personnel or contractors (e.g., janitors, technicians).
  • Manage maintenance budget, track expenses, and control costs while ensuring quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain an inventory of necessary maintenance supplies and coordinate orders when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations relevant to the restaurant industry.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, schedules, and reports.
  • Coordinate with restaurant management and other departments to prioritize maintenance work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities management, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, ideally in a restaurant, hospitality, or food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance emergencies.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and preventive maintenance best practices.
