Maintenance Head-Manufacturing

1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

· Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.

· Ensure timely maintenance of machinery to prevent unplanned breakdowns.

· Use tools like TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

2. Breakdown Maintenance & Troubleshooting

· Respond promptly to equipment failures or breakdowns.

· Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

· Minimize downtime through quick and effective troubleshooting.

3. Team Management

· Lead, train, and supervise a team of maintenance engineers and technicians.

· Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.

· Build a skilled and responsive maintenance team.

4. Asset Management

· Maintain an accurate record of all machinery and equipment.

· Ensure optimal lifecycle management of assets.

· Track spare parts inventory and ensure availability when needed.

5. Safety & Compliance

· Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and legal regulations.

· Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

· Promote a culture of safety within the team.

6. Budgeting & Cost Control

· Prepare and manage the maintenance budget.

· Optimize maintenance costs without compromising on quality or safety.

· Evaluate and approve purchases of tools, equipment, and spare parts.

7. Vendor & Contractor Management

· Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized maintenance.

· Evaluate vendor performance and ensure timely service delivery.

8. Reporting & Documentation

· Maintain logs of maintenance work, breakdowns, and repairs.

· Prepare reports on equipment efficiency, downtime, and maintenance KPIs.

· Present reports and insights to senior management.

9. Continuous Improvement

· Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability and maintenance processes.

· Implement lean maintenance strategies and support Kaizen, 5S, or Six Sigma initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
