Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee maintenance activities in our plastic molding plant. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and utilities, supervision of the maintenance team, and ensuring minimal downtime and maximum equipment reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical/electrical engineering with hands-on experience in injection molding or plastic processing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of plastic molding machines (injection/blow molding), utilities, and ancillary equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues in machinery.
  • Supervise maintenance technicians and assign daily tasks.
  • Maintain and update maintenance logs, records, and documentation.
  • Monitor machine performance and recommend upgrades or improvements.
  • Ensure availability of critical spare parts and tools.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to minimize machine downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards during maintenance work.
  • Participate in audits and provide necessary maintenance documentation.
  • Support in installation and commissioning of new machines/equipment.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or any other related engineering stream.

Experience Required:

  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in plant/facility maintenance, preferably in a plastic molding or similar manufacturing setup.
  • Supervisory experience in managing a small team of maintenance technicians is essential.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of plastic molding machinery (e.g., injection molding, blow molding).
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, automation, and machine control systems (preferred).
  • Experience with preventive maintenance planning tools and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities.
  • Safety and compliance-oriented mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
