Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and facilities are maintained in good working order. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing equipment performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency.
• Recommend and implement improvements to equipment design, operation, and maintenance practices.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery or systems.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies.
• Supervise and train maintenance technicians or contractors as required.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in manufacturing company
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,549.71 - ₹30,000.00 per month
