Maintenance Engineer

**Job Description:** As a Maintenance & Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery, including CNC machines, woodworking equipment, and assembly lines. Your key responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime. It will be essential for you to maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the equipment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, including CNC machines, woodworking equipment, and assembly lines. - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime. - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities. - Regularly inspect machines to identify potential issues and ensure they are operating at peak efficiency. - Test and calibrate machinery to meet quality and production standards. - Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all production equipment. - Coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to the production process. - Provide technical support and guidance to the production team on equipment operation and maintenance. - Collaborate with the engineering team to modify or upgrade machinery for better performance and efficiency. - Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. - Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to workplace safety standards. - Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and equipment. - Coordinate with suppliers to order and maintain a sufficient stock of essential parts. - Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, machine performance, and downtime. - Prepare reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and performance improvements. **Qualifications Required:** - Prior experience in performing maintenance and repair on industrial machinery. - Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. - Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and scheduling. - Ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams. - Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards. - Excellent organizational skills for spare parts management and documentation. - Proficiency in preparing detailed reports on maintenance activities.
