Maintainance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Head
Location: Shalby Hospitals – Naroda Unit

Reports To: Unit Head / Corporate Engineering Head

Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage all maintenance operations of the hospital unit, including electrical, HVAC/AC, plumbing, civil works, and other facility-related services, ensuring smooth functioning of infrastructure and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems, HVAC/AC units, plumbing, and civil works.
• Ensure round-the-clock availability of essential utilities (power, water supply, AC, etc.) without disruption.
• Monitor and manage annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) with vendors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and hospital quality standards.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement of materials.
• Lead and guide the maintenance team for efficient operations and timely issue resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, service records, and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with hospital departments for quick resolution of facility-related complaints.
• Handle emergency breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime of critical equipment.
• Support expansion, renovation, and civil work projects within the unit.

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and civil maintenance.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering.
• 6–12 years of experience in facility/maintenance management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setup.
• Experience in handling electrical, AC, and civil maintenance is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
