Job Description:

• Sr Software Engineer Mainframe Modernization
• Indicative years of total experience 57 years

Role Description

• The Sr Software engineer would be a key member of mainframe devtooling team working on development tools of mainframe including its maintenance upgradation
• Engagement period 1 year
• Reporting relationship
• This role will report to Delivery Manager Sr Delivery Manager

Key Skillset

• Must have knowledge handson
• Knowledge handson on zOS related tools ability to install customize IBM thirdparty software using SMPE
• Exposure andor experience with the mainframe JCL REXX Batch Jobs file systems encoding etc along with experience with IDZRDZ tools
• Customization and maintenance of system datasets like Parmlibs Proclibs and supporting frequent Change requests like APF LLA Lnklst addition and deletion request SDSF request PARMLIB Customization Proclib updates LPA updates etc
• Performed IPL support and conducted timelines
• zOS Primary onCall Support
• Install upgrade and maintain ISV products
• Handson experience with tools such as Xpeditor B92 AbendAid FileAid IDZ CA7 and other IBM Broadcom products
• Must have good understanding on JCL jobs utilities and VSAM files ZFS file systems and their concepts

Good to have skills

• Experience in configuring understand CICD tools XLRDigitalai UCD Jenkins Bitbucket Git awareness of environments applications server connections property definitions templates etc
• Summary This role is Cusp of OS zos systems programmer and experience in hosting tools including maintenance installation configuration ISV IBM products SMPE experience REXX
• There will be customer interview Work location would be Client office Pune Client office Hyderabad
