As part of our ongoing alliance with Allianz UK, we are seeking a Mainframe Developer with a passion for clean code, legacy modernization, and mission-critical systems. Role Overview As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: Translating functional requirements into robust, efficient mainframe code using COBOL/PL1/NATURAL. Developing and maintaining both batch and online components using JCL, DB2, and ADABAS. Supporting full-cycle development: from requirements analysis to production deployment. Collaborating with cross-functional teams in India and the UK for coordinated project delivery. Following Allianz's CMMI Level 5 quality processes and maintaining regulatory compliance. What You Bring 3+ years of experience in Mainframe development using COBOL/PL1/NATURAL, JCL, DB2/ADABAS . Hands-on exposure to batch and online processing , debugging , file transfers , and testing frameworks . Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and configuration management tools. Strong experience across the full project development lifecycle – including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Desirable: experience in Adabas/Natural and working in the insurance domain . Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills. Why Claidroid?
