Job Description

As the Senior Operations you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising all operational activities within the organization. This role requires extensive experience in operations management, process improvement, and team leadership. You will collaborate closely with various departments to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and drive business success.

Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyse existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute operational initiatives and projects.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate with department heads to streamline interdepartmental processes and enhance communication.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues and bottlenecks in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior operations staff members.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to continually enhance operational processes.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance and initiatives to senior management.

  • Minimum 4-8 years of experience in operations management or related fields.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading operational initiatives and driving process improvements.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices in operations management.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
  • Prior experience in mentoring and developing junior staff members.

Good to have :

  • Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with supply chain management principles
  • Experience in the technology industry
  • Change management expertise
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
