Logistics Specialist

TITLE: Logistics and Freight Forwarder Project – SME
Location: PuneBand: BPO 1/2Salary Range: up to 6 LPAJOB PURPOSE:To be able to execute E2E logistic services. Experience in handling customer interactions via email / chatpertaining to bookings, export import procedures, custom validation and filing process. Knowledge of tariffand HTS code classification, import validations and paper works requirement. Execute defect free export,import documentation, validation for custom filing meeting rules and regulation as mentioned in SOP.Ability to provide best practices and support in training and productions of documentationKEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:• Representing the project as a Subject matter expert• A good communicator and relationship building & interpersonal skills, strong analytical, problemsolving & organizational abilities.• Experience in managing and validating customs filing process – Preparing training material andprocess SOPs.• Working closely with Customer, multiple stakeholders to process activities and task pertaining to airlogistics especially in Custom filing process• Should be able to proactively resolve customer issues with high sense of urgency.• Work towards deadlines and deliver quality outputs within timelineREQUIRED COMPETENCIES:• Candidate should have sound knowledge of Logistics business processes – Air and Ocean• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in air logistics and/or ocean freight forwardingdomain.• Ability to execute / process business related task / procedures for Logistics / Freight forwarderscompanies• Experience in operations, performance management and drive for improvements• Must have knowledge of Logistics Marketplace concepts and customer demands• A Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of business processes, ProcessManagement, and procedures followed in end to end export import documentationKnowledge and Qualification:• Graduation in any field• Preferred Degree in Commerce, International trade, Logistics• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.• Experience in back office setups will be added advantage**Reject if candidate is not in Pune****Reject if no international BPO experience****Graduation is compulsory**
