Logistics Executive

Job Description: We are looking for a mature and experienced Logistics Executive who can take on challenges and independently manage daily logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vehicle scheduling, coordination, customer handling, and ensuring the smooth and timely movement of goods across locations. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and schedule vehicles for daily dispatch and delivery operations. Route Planning: Optimize delivery routes for timely and cost-effective transportation. Yield Calculation: Track and calculate vehicle yield, trip efficiency, and fuel usage. Dispatch Management: Oversee loading/unloading, verify trip sheets, and maintain accurate documentation. Stock & Delivery Tracking: Coordinate with hubs and warehouses for efficient stock movement and delivery status. Customer Handling: Interact with customers professionally to manage dispatch-related queries, delays, or escalations. Decision Making: Handle day-to-day operational challenges confidently and make quick, practical decisions under pressure. Vendor & Driver Management: Coordinate effectively with drivers, vendors, and transporters to ensure seamless operations. Reporting: Maintain daily trip, mileage, and cost records; prepare regular logistics performance reports. Issue Resolution: Take ownership of operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns, delays, or route challenges. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and transport regulations. Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams for smooth logistics flow. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in logistics or dispatch operations, preferably in FMCG or similar industries. Age: Preferably between 40–55 years. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to handle operational pressure. Good communication and coordination skills. Customer handling experience is a must. Basic knowledge of vehicle scheduling, routing, and documentation. Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets will be an added advantage. Someone who is responsible, disciplined, and can take ownership of the logistics function. Job Type: Full-time
