Logistics Executive (Import)

About the Role

We are hiring a Logistics Specialist to manage day-to-day logistics and supply chain operations. This role involves close coordination with vendors, transporters, and suppliers to ensure smooth imports, shipping, customs clearance, and on-time deliveries. The candidate will also oversee vendor negotiations, client travel planning, and support the Accounts team in tracking business health.   

Key Responsibilities

- Manage import shipments, shipping consolidation, and customs clearance. 

- Coordinate procurement, warehousing, transportation, and delivery operations. 

- Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and shipping agents. 

- Track shipments, troubleshoot delays, and ensure timely delivery. 

- Maintain accurate records of inventory, payments, and logistics documentation. 

- Support client travel planning and coordination. 

- Work with the Accounts team to align costs and expenses with overall business health. 

- Continuously optimize logistics processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree

- 2–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or vendor management preferred. 

- Good command of *English (spoken and written)*. 

- Proficiency in *Excel and basic office tools* (knowledge of SAP/WMS/TMS is a plus). 

- Strong *communication skills* for engaging with vendors, customers, and internal teams. 

- *Analytical mindset* with problem-solving approach.
