Role Overview: As a Logistics professional, you will be responsible for arranging transportation, coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff, preparing accurate records, monitoring logistics costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, communicating with customers, and optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Arrange transportation and logistics scheduling and route planning. - Coordinate with Drivers to ensure timely delivery. - Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage stock levels and storage space. - Prepare and maintain accurate records of bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation. - Monitor and manage logistics costs to stay within budget. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses. - Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. - Analyse data to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. - 2-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management. - Strong knowledge of logistics processes, regulations, and best practices. - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Please note that the job may require occasional visits to factories and sites, as well as travel to meet with suppliers, vendors, and customers. This is a full-time, permanent position that will primarily be based in an office environment. Thank you.
