Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage the movement of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery in our Office in Cochin, India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, and working with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers to optimize logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage and track inventory levels, ensuring stock availability and accuracy.
• Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues.
• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as shipping invoices, customs forms, and delivery receipts.
• Optimize logistics processes to improve cost efficiency and reduce delivery times.
• Monitor transportation costs and negotiate with carriers for competitive rates.
• Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
• Identify and resolve logistics-related challenges in a timely manner.
• Generate reports on shipping, inventory, and logistics performance for management review.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, transportation, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
