Logistics Co-ordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator, your role will involve overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of the company. Your responsibilities will include coordinating personnel and processes to ensure the effective distribution and delivery of goods, particularly in the field of Pulses and Dals. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations - Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures - Ensure safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments - Plan and track shipment of cargo according to trades - Track, trace, and update status of delivery of cargo - Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues - Prepare e-way bills and issuance of delivery orders - Coordinate with logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) until cargo reaches destination - Maintain transaction log and documentation - Monitor shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity - Track and analyze mis-shipments to prevent reoccurrence - Liaise and negotiate with transporters and clients - Keep logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders - Develop and implement policies, safety procedures, and risk management plans - Prepare accurate reports for upper management - Other responsibilities as discussed with management during the interview Qualifications Required: - Total work experience: 2 years (Required) - Experience working in APMC or field of pulses: 2 years (Preferred) - Language proficiency in Hindi and English (Required) You will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of goods aligns with trades by booking trucks, communicating with transporters, tracking cargo, issuing delivery orders, and maintaining necessary documentation. Your effective communication and negotiation skills, along with a solid understanding of supply management principles, will be valuable assets in this role.,
