Logistics Co-ordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator in the Steel Industry, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all logistics operations related to the movement of raw materials and finished steel products. Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth coordination between transporters, suppliers, production teams, and customers to achieve timely dispatches and deliveries. You will be handling vehicle planning, weighbridge coordination, documentation, e-way bills, invoicing support, and tracking of shipments. Your strong organizational skills, accuracy in record-keeping, and ability to manage multiple dispatches in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment will be key to your success. Additionally, you will monitor freight rates, liaise with transporters, and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements while maintaining efficient logistics flow. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee all logistics operations related to raw materials and finished steel products - Coordinate with transporters, suppliers, production teams, and customers for timely dispatches and deliveries - Handle vehicle planning, weighbridge coordination, documentation, e-way bills, and tracking of shipments - Monitor freight rates, liaise with transporters, and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements - Maintain efficient logistics flow in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in any stream (preferably Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or Business Administration) - Additional certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation Management will be an added advantage - Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic computer operations - Understanding of logistics documentation, e-way bills, invoicing, and transport coordination - Familiarity with ERP/Tally or any dispatch management software (preferred) - Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage fast-paced operations If you are interested in this opportunity and reside within a 25 km radius of Dera Bassi, please send your CV or reach out to us at 9941400005.
