Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Logistics Officer to oversee and coordinate the monthly movement of approximately 50 trucks across various business verticals. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and a proven track record in logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates and finalize contracts with transport vendors for truck movements
• Plan and arrange timely dispatch of ~50 trucks/month across multiple verticals
• Monitor daily logistics operations to ensure cost-efficiency and timely delivery
• Maintain and update transport schedules, documentation, and vendor records
• Resolve transport-related issues and delays with agility and professionalism
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast logistics needs
• Track KPIs such as delivery timelines, freight costs, and vendor performance
• Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in logistics, dispatch, or transport coordination
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Familiarity with local and regional transport networks
• Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics software (TMS preferred)
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in Hindi and English; Gujarati is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
