Liquid Developer

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Shopify Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary owner of our Shopify Plus (or Shopify) store, responsible for all front-end development, theme customizations, and ensuring a seamless, high-performance, and visually stunning user experience. You will collaborate closely with our marketing, design, and operations teams to bring our brand's vision to life online.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Develop, customize, and maintain our Shopify theme using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Translate UI/UX design mockups from tools like Figma or Sketch into fully functional, responsive, and mobile-first web pages.
• Implement new features and functionality on the storefront, from small UI tweaks to major new sections.
• Manage the Shopify app ecosystem: install, configure, and customize third-party apps to enhance store functionality.
• Optimize the website for speed, performance, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Troubleshoot and resolve any bugs or issues on the live site quickly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement tracking pixels, analytics tools, and ensure on-page SEO best practices.
• Maintain a high standard of code quality and documentation using version control (Git).

Who You Are (Skills & Qualifications)

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Shopify's templating language, Liquid.
• Strong command of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Deep understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
• Experience working with Shopify APIs (REST/GraphQL) and integrating third-party apps.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Shopify Plus features (e.g., Scripts, Flow, custom checkout).
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (like React or Vue.js) for headless commerce or complex theme sections.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
• Experience building custom Shopify Apps from scratch.
• A good eye for design and user experience.
