Your role

Do you have a knack for technology? Are you at your best when supporting others? We’re looking for someone like that to:

Provide support to dynamic delivery team responsible for building, developing, and maintaining robust Linux platforms that support a large enterprise server estate
Provide projects support in cutting-edge technologies such as Ansible, RHN, Satellite, Puppet, JSON, and cloud solutions like Azure.
Regular verbal and written communication with business partners and other support teams to clarify details of Gitlab issue or service requests to enhance production vulnerabilities.
Engineering knowledge of key technologies, such as RHEL 7/8/9, Puppet/Anisble, JSON, LVM/VxVM, VCS/ Cluster/RHCS, Commvault, Blade technology.

You will be member of Linux Engineering team, you will have the chance to enhance your skills in cutting-edge technologies such as Ansible, RHN, Satellite, Puppet, JSON, and cloud solutions like Azure. Additionally, you will be part of a vibrant Linux community, collaborating with other professional Linux/Unix engineers to share ideas and drive innovation.

Your expertise

University degree with 12+ years' experience in supporting UNIX based distributed computing environment with a large number of systems (2000+), a solid understanding of a UNIX-based operating system, preferable Solaris 10/11 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8 , Knowledge of Veritas Cluster Volume Manager /concepts and operations , Knowledge of Veritas Cluster server.
Strong understanding and management of base operating systems, ensuring robust and efficient system design. Solid understanding of Unix-based operating systems, including Redhat Linux and Solaris.
Familiarity with infrastructure management technologies, including automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, RHN, Satellite, YAML, JSON, Conman, yum RHNcli, and Jumpstart.
Proficiency in using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Tanium. Familiarity with containerization technologies like AKS and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, or PowerShell. ‘
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Continuous improvement of processes and tools through regular feedback and iteration.
