Linux Infrastructure Engineer

As a Linux Infrastructure Engineer at Lektik, you will play a crucial role in deploying, operating, and optimizing production-grade OpenStack clusters that drive LLM inference, RAG workloads, vector search, and GPU-accelerated AI services. Your efforts will directly impact real deployments in various sectors such as finance, healthcare, logistics, and federal clients. **Responsibilities:** - Deploying and managing components like Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Swift, Keystone, Glance, and Magnum in OpenStack clusters - Configuring multi-node setups, ensuring high availability, and managing MariaDB and RabbitMQ - Troubleshooting cluster, network, and storage issues at the infrastructure level - Managing GPU passthrough, SR-IOV, and NUMA-aware scheduling - Provisioning and operating Kubernetes clusters through Magnum - Managing ingress, CNI, storage classes, and container runtimes - Deploying AI serving stack including Triton, vLLM, and ONNX Runtime - Integrating vector databases such as pgvector, Milvus, and Elasticsearch - Tuning GPU workloads for optimal throughput and latency - Implementing infrastructure automation using Ansible or Terraform - Setting up observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki - Establishing CI/CD hooks for infrastructure changes - Ensuring network segmentation, RBAC, TLS, and audit logging for security and compliance - Hardening OpenStack, Kubernetes, and GPU nodes **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of Linux internals, focusing on networking, systemd, and kernel modules - Hands-on experience with OpenStack deployment - In-depth understanding of Neutron networking with expertise in OVS and OVN - Proficiency in container technologies like Docker, containerd, and CRI-O - Scripting skills in Python or Bash - Preferred experience with NVIDIA CUDA, GPU drivers, and NCCL **Bonus Skills:** - Familiarity with Ceph or Swift storage systems - Knowledge of Heat or Ironic - Experience working with high-performance and low-latency systems Lektik offers a Full-time job type with benefits including paid sick time and Provident Fund.
