About Role:-

The candidate will be responsible for supporting and driving the Liability Insurance portfolio, including Client Servicing, Placement, Technical Analysis, and Business Development for corporate clients in Gujarat region. The role involves engaging with insurers, understanding client exposures, preparing proposals, and ensuring smooth policy issuance and renewal management.

Responsibilities

A. Business Development & Client Acquisition

• Identify and engage new corporate clients across Ahmedabad & Vadodara for Liability and Financial Lines products.
• Support the sales team with technical presentations, risk assessments, and product positioning.
• Develop proposals, pitch decks, and customized liability solutions for clients.

B. Technical & Placement Activities

• Understand client operations and conduct detailed risk analysis for:
• Commercial General Liability (CGL)
• Product Liability
• D&O (Directors & Officers)
• Cyber Insurance
• Professional Indemnity / E&O

1. Prepare RFQs, coverage comparisons, underwriting notes, and quotation summaries.
2. Coordinate with insurance companies for quotes, negotiations, terms finalization, and approvals.
3. Assist in drafting special clauses, endorsements, and policy wording review.

C. Client Servicing & Renewal Management

• End-to-end servicing of liability portfolio clients, including mid-term amendments, COI issuance, and documentation.
• Ensure timely renewal updates, meetings, and placement well before expiry.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide proactive advisory on emerging liability risks.

E. Internal Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with the branch team, corporate verticals, and senior management.
• Maintain MIS, pipelines, renewal trackers, and weekly reporting.
• Attend product trainings and stay updated on market terms and underwriting developments.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

Graduate / Post-Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Insurance, or related field.

Insurance certifications (III / Broker Qualified) preferred.

Experience

1–6 years in Liability/Financial Lines portfolio in broking/insurance company.

Freshers with strong interest in Liability Insurance may also be considered (for Executive level).

Soft Skills

Excellent communication & presentation skills.

Client-oriented approach with relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently and meet timelines.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

4. Travel Requirement

Moderate travel within Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and nearby industrial clusters.
